Call for Scores

The SMP ensemble is planning a concert of New Zealand works in mid-2012.  The concert will be performed by a medium-sized ensemble. We are calling on all composers who are NZ citizens or resident in New Zealand to provide material for this concert.

The SMP Ensemble was founded in October 2008. We produce around 5 concerts a year, including occasional charity projects. Music played includes contemporary music mixed with other unusual performances. The ensemble mainly comprises recent graduates of the New Zealand School of Music, with occasional use of current students, staff and other guest artists.
